Buckle & Boots Country Music Festival
Following a hugely successful and widely-acclaimed launch last year, Buckle & Boots Country Festival will return for a second year in June at Whitebottom Farm! Located in the heart of the Stockport countryside in Etherow Park, Buckle & Boots provides a unique opportunity for country fans to experience some of the greatest talents in British and worldwide country music in a picturesque rural location. Taking place over 3 days (June 23-25), the festival combines stunning music, great food, top quality camping facilities and an unrivalled community spirit, creating one of the most entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable events of the year.
Last year’s inaugural festival was a phenomenal launch. With meet and greet opportunities and a warm, friendly approach, the festival encouraged a special connection between artists and fans and a wonderful communal atmosphere. Where else could you have your pint pulled at the bar by your favourite country artists? Where else could you wake up in the morning to the sound of some of the genre’s best talents jamming on their guitars just a few tents away? The festival encapsulates everything country music should be – love, laughs and a big like-minded family.
This year promises to crank up proceedings another notch, with an array of immensely talented musicians from all over the world coming to the festival to showcase their craft. The British Country Music Association will be hosting the ‘BCMA Stage’, presenting some of the brightest talents and rising prospects from the British country music scene, and there will also be a huge number of UK acts thrilling audiences on the Paddock Stage.
Established in 1965 by its eponymous founder, John Hornby Skewes, and his wife Madge from their modest home in Garforth near Leeds, the couple built JHS up from a standing start with just a few small accessories.
Fifty years or more after those humble beginnings, and now operating from a purpose built warehouse and office complex close to junction 47 of the M1 motorway, JHS has become a truly international company, representing over seventy industry leading distributed brands in the UK/ROI, the countries of the European Union, USA and beyond.
JHS proprietary brands, including Fret-King, Vintage, Laka, Santos Martinez, Pilgrim, Encore and Falcon fretted instruments, Antoni orchestral stringed instruments, Odyssey brass and woodwind, Kinsman musical accessories, PP Drums and JHS Hornby recorders are represented in over ninety markets worldwide.
By working closely over recent years with a number of industry renowned builders, designers and master craftsmen such as Trev Wilkinson, Peter Pollard, Paul Brett and Paul Tebbut, JHS brands have gone on to win accolades, awards and praise across the board for products that are bursting with professional features and specification, punching well above their often modest price tags.
Now offering nearly 6000 lines and active in a multitude of categories – hi-end, boutique guitar amps, orchestral stringed instruments, stadium sound reinforcement, band PA, brass and woodwind instruments, karaoke, specialist shop fittings for musical products, educational percussion, conductors batons, guitar pickups and components, traditional metronomes, guitars to banjos, to ukes, JHS is a true full line distributor stocking just about anything and everything a musician or reseller of musical products could need.

Visual Image Marketing
Music Video Promotion is not usually a line item that gets inserted into the “Making the Music Video” budget… but it should be!
In today’s visual world, an artist’s music video can actually help that artist gain familiarity with both the music buying public as well as decision makers within the music industry (labels, talent buyers, radio programmers, etc.) The disconnect is that many artists & labels are not aware of the incredible potential that music video has and how to get that exposure.
Just like you need promotion at radio for a single, you need a promoter for your music video.
