TV Host & Reporter, Nashville Insider & CountryLine
Adam Wurtzel is a CMA Media Achievement nominated host and reporter, who’s love for television started earlier than most. Before he could talk, he became infatuated with classics like “Card Sharks” and “Wheel of Fortune,” and even taught himself how to timer record on a VCR at the age of 3! (He recorded his favorite shows while in preschool!)
After hosting a game show in college, Wurtzel’s dream came true in 2009, when he won a national competition to host “GSN Live” for Game Show Network alongside TV veteran/host Fred Roggin. Shortly after that, he was named the backstage correspondent for CBS’s “The Early Show,” where his “full circle moment” occurred backstage at “The Price is Right.”
In 2012, Adam moved to Nashville to be an Entertainment/Lifestyle Reporter on NBC Nashville. Over his years in Music City, Wurtzel has become a top, go-to Country Music host and reporter.
You can currently watch Adam Wurtzel on the Nationally Syndicated TV series, “Nashville Insider,” on Sir Elton John’s “CountryLine” app, as the Backstage Host on “25 Words or Less” and LIVE on stage on “Hollywood’s Greatest Game Shows,” hosting with game show legend Bob Eubanks.
Editor, BBC Radio 2
Al Booth is an Editor at BBC Radio 2. Currently overseeing shows including Jo Whiley’s evening show, The Country Show with Bob Harris and Radio 2’s Sunday Live music programme, Al is also responsible for major network projects including music festivals, the recent Country season ,and a range of music documentaries. She produced The Country show with Bob Harris for more than ten years, ran the Radio 2 Country pop-up DAB station and has produced coverage of both the CMA and Americana awards in Nashville, receiving the CMA Wesley Rose International Media award in 2009.
Radio & TV Broadcaster, Absolute Radio Country and Festival Director, The Long Road
Baylen Leonard is a Radio and TV Broadcaster and Festival Director. He was born and bred in the official Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol Tennessee but has lived in the UK for over two decades.
Baylen won the CMA International Broadcaster award in 2019 and the 2019 BCMA UK Services To Industry award. He has hosted country music shows, specials, and commentary for BBC Radio 2, BBC London, BBC Radio 4, BBC Scotland, and Chris Country. He currently fronts 6 shows a week on Absolute Radio Country.
In addition to broadcasting, Baylen is Artistic Director and talent booker for The Long Road, the UK’s largest outdoor country music festival and serves as Head of Music for Holler, a new UK based Country, Americana, and Roots website.
Founder & Director, Killer B Music
Killer B Music has been programming and booking festivals, events and venues for over 15 years, our portfolio of festivals has included: Hop Farm Music Festival, FIB Benicassim, The Mighty Boosh Festival, Costa de Fuego (Spain), Black Deer, Wood Festival, Towersey Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Desertfest, Zoo Project UK, The Brick Lane Takeover, The Magic Loungeabout, Synergy Live, Parklife (South Africa), Roko Nakyts, Bliuzo Naktys and Galapagai (Lithuania).
KB also books and event manages large-scale shows, our last 2 shows were Kings of Leon at Newcastle Football Club and Sarah Brightman and the Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra, in Beijing, China.
We take care of bookings for corporate parties, private events and launches. We also work with various brands when they want to align with artists.
Bev also works as a mentor to emerging artists in The Mentors project.
Founder, Chris Country Radio
Chris’s passion for country music came about when he moved to Texas and discovered Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Alan Jackson on the radio. He quickly got hooked, and brought the country bug back with him five years later.
An audio producer by day, Chris started “Chris Country” as a joke between friends, and it’s snowballed since then! He’s interviewed numerous country singers including Kacey Musgraves, Lady Antebellum and Eric Church, and he’s delighted that his show is heard not only on Chris Country, but around 20 other stations across the UK.
Away from the studio, Chris is a fan of VW camper vans, cider and basset hounds. He’s married to his Californian sweetheart Andrea, who prefers the American weather to ours!
Outreach Manager, PRS
Based in Manchester, Daniel has worked in the Membership department at PRS for Music for close to a decade. He’s a PRS writer member who’s played guitar and bass in a number of bands. He’s written for numerous digital and print publications over the years. He’s also a huge fan of Fugazi, At The Drive-In, Refused plus local acts such as 65daysofstatic and Rolo Tomassi.
Grammy Winning Producer and Songwriter
Femke is a Grammy winning producer, songwriter, musician. After attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, the Dutch native moved to Los Angeles where she received her Masters in Commercial Music at Cal State University, Los Angeles.
Femke began working for Hans Zimmer’s prestigious Remote Control studios where she arranged, programmed and orchestrated music for Film and TV. She later moved to Nashville to pursue her passion of producing and writing with recording artists.
Femke founded her own indie label, LV Music to give a home to rising indie artists she’s discovered.
Femke has won the ASCAP Harold Adamson Award for lyric writing as well as a Latin Grammy -writing the single “Goodbye” on Beto Cuevas’ LP ‘Transformacion’ which won Pop Album of the Year (Latin) in 2014.
She has written with the writers behind the hits of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga and many more.

John Marks spent most of his career in terrestrial radio, since the age of 16. Programming stints include KKAT – Salt Lake City, KWNR – Las Vegas, KSON – San Diego among others.
From there, John spent 5 years as the Sr. Director of Country Music at Sirius XM. Under Marks’ leadership, The Highway became one of the most listened to music channels on their platform. Through the Highway, Marks helped to break Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell and Old Dominion among others into national prominence.
After Sirius XM, John Marks landed at Spotify and was their Global Editor for Country Music for 5 ½ years. John curated over 25 country playlists. His Flagship playlist, Hot Country, was the 3rd most consumed Playlist worldwide in the Spotify platform.
John recently departed Spotify to form his own company “John Marks Worldwide”. He’s formed a consulting company specialising in developing strategies surrounding content, music and marketing in an ever changing streaming environment. For more info click to johnmarks.
Producer, Country Show, BBC Radio 2
Mark Hagen works for BBC Radio 2 where he produces the station’s weekly Country Show and the majority of its other country content, including C2C the CMAS.CMA Music Fest and more.
He is a former country music TV & radio presenter and member of the Country Music Association’s board of directors. He is a double CMA winner, a BCMA winner and some of his work with Bruce Springsteen won a Grammy. He has been blessed by Little Richard, kissed by Paul McCartney, slapped by Dolly Parton and told the meaning of life by Jaren Johnston of the Cadillac Three which he later forgot due to beer.
He believes that Billy Joe McAllister was throwing the body of Emmett Till off the Tallahatchie Bridge, that Prince’s Hot Chicken has the superior recipe and that consequently country music is best served with a little spice, preferably ginger.
Founder, CountryRadio.uk and Lexicon Radio
Matt helps produce popular and award-winning radio shows on CountryRadio.uk, the station he founded in 2017. In late 2020 he launched Lexicon Radio where he co-hosts two weekly shows: rewinding back to the 1980s on a Tuesday and celebrating the start of the weekend every Friday evening. As well as managing two radio stations, Matt runs Chords Music Management, which he co-founded with fellow radio host Jessica Taylor, and Sawtry Media, a media development and investment company.
Radio Presenter & Live Host - Absolute Radio Country, Nashville Meets London & The British Country Music Festival
Singer-songwriter Matt Spracklen is a radio presenter on UK country radio station, Absolute Radio Country. He studied music at both Trevecca and Belmont Universities in Nashville, TN and toured with bands throughout Europe appearing on MTV, BBC Radio 1 and featured in magazines such as Kerrang! and Rocksound. He is a former professional photographer and has travelled with international artists including Dave Stewart, Nikki Sixx and Papa Roach. Matt is also a live host and compere at festivals such as Isle Of Wight, Nashville Meets London and The British Country Music Festival as well as hosting and interviewing the bands for Stabal Music.

Paul is well-known as the presenter and producer of countless documentaries for BBC Radio 2, often with unparalleled access to big stars like the Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton and Elton John; he has also covered the CMA Awards and deputised for Bob Harris on Radio 2 over many years. Paul writes for numerous newspapers and publications including the Sunday Times, Sunday Express, Financial Times and Billboard. He is a frequent visitor to the United States and has been syndicated on radio there, and has made many trips to Nashville.

R.J. Romeo’s career has spanned over 23 years in the music and live events industries. R.J.’s career began as a lighting/roofing technician giving him a backbone of experience in concert production. Graduating law school and leading the entertainment law division at a premiere Omaha firm, provided R.J. with a unique skillset that prepared him for his current role as President at Romeo Entertainment Group (“REG”).

Family owned and operated for over 65 years, REG has extensive industry experience in contracting big name entertainment and producing high quality successful concerts of all genres in a variety of events and venues (fairs, festivals, casinos, clubs, rodeos, and private events). R.J. is the recipient of the 2014 International Entertainment Buyers Association’s (IEBA) Fair Buyer of the Year Award and in 2018 received both the Academy of Country Music Don Romeo Talent Buyer of the Year Award as well as the IEBA Fair Buyer of the Year Award. R.J. is a professional member of the following organizations: IEBA, Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Nebraska and Tennessee Bar Associations, and Nashville Bar Association. R.J. is currently on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for IEBA.
