COUNTRY MUSIC SONGSTRESS AND INDIE RECORDING ARTIST
BAILEY CALLAHAN
POURS OUT SPUNKY NEW ORIGINAL — “SWEAT TEA”
Nineteen-year-old Bailey Callahan, dubbed “the All-American, girl-next-door,” serves up a saucy tune with a fiery, cut-to-the-chase attitude that bites like a shot of whiskey yet is as delightfully refreshing as an icy glass of sweet tea that drink’s up easy.
“‘Sweet Tea’ represents a female empowerment—a freedom and fearlessness to be yourself. You can be a Friday night rebel or a Sunday morning sweetheart. The instrumentation has a bit of a Jay Joyce (Eric Church/Tenille Townes) vibe.”
Don’t be a fool
About my innocent smile
Behind these eyes
Is a-little wild child
You could take your aim
Yeah you could test your luck
Go on and play your game
So, I could call your bluff
Don’t take me home to mom
Till you know what you got
You might be thinking I’m perfect
Oh but baby I’m not
