We’re delighted to announce that our Country Release Friday pick this week with MAM Roots is from Hicktown Breakout. The Bristol-based band have a brand new EP ‘Lost Myself’ which is available now to buy or stream on all major platforms and you can tune into @mam_roots IGTV from 2pm today for an exclusive live video.
The title track ‘Lost Myself’’ “is written about a guy who is re-evaluating his life after a major breakup”. Lyrically and musically, the track maintains a light-hearted and upbeat feel about love and expresses the positive side of ending a bad relationship and moving on.
“We want to show the bands ‘fun and serious’ side with this EP, bringing together a mix of beer fuelled floor fillers and thought-provoking ballads.”
“Inspired by our own personal life stories, this new EP takes the listener on a rollercoaster ride of life’s journey that everyone can relate to.”
