Emma Jade

Emma Jade is a seasoned UK country music performer, she has been played on stages all over the world since the age of 14.

Aged 16 Emma was discovered online by a producer in Nashville, TN and in February 2012 she flew to the states to play her first international show and became the first British artist to be confirmed as a performer at ‘Teen Hoot’, a showcase of teenage artists which went on to house talents from all over the world. Whilst in Nashville her love for country music grew as she watched some of the greatest musicians and producers in the world at work.

BBC ‘THE VOICE UK’ – By 2013 Emma was offered the opportunity to appear on BBC’s ‘The Voice UK’, she was chosen by Sir Tom Jones to join his team and the UK watched as she progressed through the competition, since then over 3M people have watched Emma’s The Voice UK performances on YouTube. Emma Jade’s future was changed and, in her career, she has done things she never dreamed she could do.

In 2016 Emma decided it was time to take time out to find herself and the music she wanted to make. These days her music lie’s solely with the old country stars of the past, her voice tells a story and will break a heart only to heal it again in the next song, take traditional country music, add some old school rock n roll and sprinkle in some 70’s Americana inspiration and you have Emma’s sound.

Her debut EP ‘Older Now’ was released in July 2018 and was awarded EP of the year by Belles & Gals Tracks from that EP received national airplay by Country Hits Radio (Bauer Radio) and still do today.

‘Class of 2019’ – Lyric Magazine chose Emma Jade as one of five acts that they believed were destined to have a big year ahead and said, “Emma Jade is the UK’s answer to Miranda Lambert with the vocal power of Carrie Underwood” when they named her in their Class of 2019 ‘Artists to watch’.

Emma Jade was in high demand and performed at various festivals and travelled all over the UK and US to perform live. She shared the stage with US Country Artists Lewis Brice and William Michael Morgan and also sang with the great Vince Gill and The Time Jumpers in Nashville.

She finished a stellar year with a nomination for ‘Best Female’ at the 2019 British Country Music Association Awards where she opened the evening with a stunning full band performance.

The start of 2020 saw Emma Jade in a Partnership with a boutique American Cowboy Boot and Western Apparel brand (Planet Cowboy) and headed off to the States on a promotional tour of NYC and Nashville where she played 8 shows in 8 days and also performed live on the radio. Matt Spracklen (of Country Hits Radio) accompanied Emma Jade on the trip and hosted her live shows. Following her final live performance and to celebrate a successful tour, they were enjoying some live music at a Broadway Honky Tonk bar when deadly tornadoes hit Nashville but after hearing the warning sirens, they managed to get to a safe place to shelter and flew back to the UK the following day.

She released a new single ‘Battle of the Bands’ with fellow BCMA award nominee Alan Finlan in April which had amazing reviews and has since continued to receive national radio airplay.

 Miss Great Britain Finalist

Unfortunately, the pandemic has meant that a lot of the exciting things that her Management had planned for 2020 have had to be postponed (new music release, festival bookings, a headline tour and also a support slot for an American artist making his European debut tour) and so, entering the Miss Great Britain competition whilst in lockdown has been an exciting opportunity for her and she is feeling incredibly proud to represent her home town in Yorkshire as ‘Miss Doncaster GB’ in the Miss Great Britain Finals 2021.
