Let The Music Play (In aid of Help Musicians UK).
Our brand new charity single Let The Music Play drops next Friday 28th August and it’s raising vital funds for Help Musicians UK.
Help Musicians is a charity supporting musicians throughout the UK and have helped thousands of struggling musicians throughout the pandemic. Both myself and David both received support from the charity at the beginning of lockdown and now we want to give something back.
Let The Music Play was penned when the bars, clubs and theatres were told to shut down way back on March 13th. We both watched our income disappear overnight and we were both in a rehearsal for a duo gig that Saturday night. Obviously, the gig was cancelled so we cracked open a beer and started writing and LTMP was born! We uploaded a rough demo to Facebook and the response was overwhelming so as soon as we were able to get back into the studio we knew we had to record it.
