Emma Jane releases new album ‘Bars & Ballrooms’

Emma Jane has released her brand new album ‘Bars & Ballrooms’, available to buy online now.

Emma Jane began gigging in Glasgow in December of 2005, and has been performing and writing ever since.

Emma’s first album release was in 2008, with her highly acclaimed album ‘Red Shoes’. This was followed in 2012 with album of the year winner (fatea music) ‘Penilee songs’ which was a dedication to her mums mum,  ‘Granny Green’ after Emma found an old recording from 1959 of the family singing in auntie Nellies flat in Penilee, Glasgow.

Emma continued to release more material afterwards, moving to London and signing a publishing deal with Speegra Music, Emma released ‘Silver streets in 2013, ‘Workhorse’ 2014 which was nominated for the BCMA for album of the year

2015 Emma played the big Entrance Stage  at C2C (Country to Country) at London’s 02 Arena and was a Finalist in the Listeners Club song awards on uk country radio for her song Run.

2016 she did a live session on Under The Apple tree for Bob Harris. 

Lucky Ten’ followed in 2017 and September 2018 saw the release of Emma’s new Album ‘Treasures’. Which entered the singer/songwriter charts in the top 40. This album received high volumes of radio play and was one of BBC radio Scotland album most played album, with Billy Sloan.

2020, sees the release of Emma’s 7th album release “Bars & Ballrooms” which has already received high praise and is said to be Emma Jane’s best album to date!
