Thinking About Last Night Hayley McKay

A veteran of major festivals including Glastonbury, Cornbury, Hardwick Live, and Latitude,
Hayley has supported legendary artists like Tom Jones, Scouting For Girls, Albert Lee and
Her distinctive musical style leaps effortlessly from earthy and soulful raw emotion, to soaring
and ethereal angelic tones.
Now she’s back with her latest track. Thinking About Last Night is an upbeat, rousing country
pop song penned in Nashville by award-winning Bill DiLuigi and Mary Sarah.
When Hayley received the song, she knew instantly she had to record it, adding her own
unique flair and giving it a little British spin, with the help of musician/producer David Neil
Crabtree, and mixing and mastering by John P. Taylor.
The track perfectly showcases Hayley’s stunning vocal range and the raw passion she infuses
in every note.
She hoped to delight crowds with this latest number at the C2C: Country-to-Country Festival
in London and at the British Country Festival later this year, but due to rescheduling stemming
from the Covid-19 situation, she has decided to release the song through digital platforms on
Friday, April 3.
Hayley has performed throughout the UK, in Nashville, and across Europe, including
appearances on Ireland’s biggest daytime TV show RTE, and on STV Scotland. Some of her
music videos have also been played on Country Line TV and Country Women.
Many of her songs have been featured as BBC Introducing’s track of the week, and one of her
personal career highlights was performing in Bob Harris’s home studio for his Under The Apple
In 2019 Hayley was the featured artist at The Americana festival at The Sage, in Newcastle, for
the second year running.
Hayley hopes that during this surreal time she can help cheer people up through this song. Her
