Two Ways Home Announce Reworked Versions of Songs From Their Album
Anglo/Austrian folk-rockers, Two Ways Home are set to release 3 re-worked versions of songs from their debut album ‘Break The Silence’, released in February 2020.
The joyous news of their long-awaited album took a backseat to the COVID-19 pandemic and after initially feeling disheartened by the reality of cancelling all their upcoming tours and festival appearances, Isabella MaK and Lewis Fowler tried to make the best of the situation.
A year on, many live streams later and hours spent in their home studio, the duo started 2021 with a bang, winning “best UK duo/band of the year” at the UK Country Music Spotlight Awards. Lifting spirits with their weekly ‘HumpDay Harmonies’ the pair have been working hard on new music. Before embarking on a new musical journey, they will be releasing 3 alternative versions of songs from their debut album.
As excitement is building for brand new songs the pair are excited to show another side of their sound.
Lewis says “we have explored different influences throughout the re-working of these songs and they have taken on a new lease of life”.
Two Ways Home are made up of songwriters Isabella MaK from Vienna, Austria and Gloucestershire lad Lewis Fowler. A trip to Nashville in 2013 inspired a new name and anchored their love for Folk-Rock, Country and Americana music. The pair have been honing their craft and have released several Eps as well as standalone singles.
Since the release of their debut EP back in 2015, Isabella and Lewis have established themselves as firm favourites on the British Country/Americana scene, having shared stages with the likes of Phil Vassar and Sarah Darling as well as performing at popular festivals such as Nashville Meets London and The Long Road.
After being discovered and playlisted by Caffe Nero across 600+ stores worldwide, Lewis and Isabella embarked on a tour in 2019, playing 33 shows in 3 weeks ending with them being crowned Caffé Nero “Artist of the Month” in the October of that year.
They’ve also made waves internationally, touring in the US and throughout Europe. Receiving great support in Germany and Austria, their music has been playlisted in McDonald’s and major shopping centres throughout the country.
Their ‘Closest Stranger’ EP garnered support from Chris Country Radio, Country Hits Radio and BBC regional stations have been long-time supporters.
The duo have also been trailblazers for the country scene in London, hosting their own songwriter event ‘The Round Up’, which has attracted high-profile names from Nashville such as Charlie Worsham and Lainey Wilson, whilst giving a fantastic platform for homegrown talent.
