Anglo/Austrian, Americana duo Two Ways Home have released their new single; Signals in the Smoke a week before their C2C (Country to Country) debut at the O2 Arena. Signals in the Smoke tells the story of two lovers that have grown apart, their fire has been extinguished but there is ‘still more heat in the heart you broke and hope, so I’ll keep sending you a signal in the smoke.’ This indicates that there might still be a chance for them to rekindle their love.
Signals in the Smoke has folk-pop undertones in the same vein as Sheppard, The Wind and the Wave and WILD. The song highlights the signature close harmony sound and catchy melody writing that Two Ways Home are known for. The vocal performance on this track is crisp and clean and the instrumentation compliments the melody perfectly.
Two Ways Home are excited to present this new track alongside some other fan favourites at this year’s C2C festival at the O2 Arena on Friday the 10th of March (Wayside Stage) and on Saturday the 11th of March (Icon Stage). But these are not the only exciting live performances they have planned. After years of running London’s favourite songwriters- round: The Round Up, Two Ways Home have finally decided to take it on tour. Starting in London on the 24th of March: The Round Up will be coming to 11 different cities across the UK. There will be a different line up for each event with 25 different artists gracing The Round Up stages. Lewis and Isi can’t wait to perform with some of their favourite artists and showcase new songs, which will be released later this year.
