After 25 years of covering music of all genres, and the last 6-7 years of developing an even deeper love for country music, Scarlett decided it was finally time to tell her own story and write some more meaningful music. With inspirations and support of other British Country Music Artists, Scarlett really wanted to try and get some of her own work out there in front of a demanding audience on the grow in the UK.
Her debut single, “Where I’ll Stay” is all about looking for the things that make you happy. Going in search of this and always thinking that there is something better out there, only to realise that the things that make you happiest were there all along.
As her first write and produced song this is one she is really proud of.
“I worked on the lyrics together with my Husband Chris, developed a track of how I wanted the song to sound and then worked with the wonderful producer Ben Haynes to bring this to life. He really captured what I wanted – a good rhythm which can be appreciated by an audience new to country as well as those who have a love of the classics.”
Scarlett is looking forward to putting out some further music in 2025 and hitting the stage for new fans to see.
