Country artist and The Game Change Project ambassador Lee Ann Kelly released her new single “You Changed the Game” on 1st October, with profits from the release supporting the charity and its work with young people.
The song is particularly personal to Lee Ann. Lee Ann left school at just 12 years old and never had any secondary education. Her own experience helped inspire her connection with The Game Change Project, a charity that provides young people with alternative opportunities to learn, develop practical skills, build confidence and discover their potential. For Lee Ann, the charity represents the kind of opportunity she wishes had been available when she was young.
The result is “You Changed the Game” — a country song written as both a thank-you and a celebration of the difference that the right support can make in a young person’s life.
“I wanted to write something that could raise awareness as well as money. The Game Change Project gives young people opportunities to discover what they’re capable of, and that means a huge amount to me because of my own experiences.”
Lee Ann hopes the song will introduce The Game Change Project to a much wider audience while raising funds to support its continued work.
The single is available across major streaming platforms, with a digital purchase option also available for supporters who want to contribute directly through buying the song.
