Willow tree is the first track off her Brand new album which is set for release later this year. 10 self penned originals.
“Being a songwriter you never quite know where and when the next song or idea will come from. I started writing this song way back in 2014 but it was never finished , I had verses but it did not fit its melody and just wasn’t right so I ended up filing it away in one of my books”.
“In late 2024 my mum became ill and whist driving down to see her some lyrics just popped into my head like they had been sent to me and I wrote them down on my phone and within 5 mins I had a chorus from nowhere but nothing else. A few days passed but no more of the song came just the chorus and then I realised the verses had already been written in 2014”.
“I pulled out an old book and there they were. I now had verses, chorus and melody, I finally had the finished song that I had started in 2014”.
