Bronnie is celebrating 10 years of her debut song.. by releasing a Christmas one? Let’s get you up to date.. 10 years ago Bronnie was a music student at Paul McCartney’s Performing arts university ‘LIPA’. Her final songwriting assessment was to write a Christmas song AND get it professionally produced. ‘I thought to myself “I can’t believe THE songwriting assessment that I have to spend production money on is a CHRISTMAS SONG, I’ve been saving up for months.. what a waste!”

Well, a few months later Bronnie ended up being awarded the highest songwriting LIPA score from songwriting teacher Eddie Lundon from 80’s band China Crisis, so she decided to release ‘Modern Day Christmas’ as her first single right before Christmas 2015.

‘‘I was in Nashville in October about to have a scary movie night with some songwriter pals. We ended up playing each other our old songs from previous years and then my Christmas song ‘Modern Day Christmas’ came on shuffle! I figured out it was 10 years this Christmas since I released it. I was thinking maybe it could be cool to make a country version of my old pop punk xmas song but I thought it could be cooler writing a whole new song with a honky tonk/rockabilly style paying homage lyrically to ‘Modern Day Christmas’ and our favourite movie ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’’.
