Stoke on Trent band Chasing Twisters return with a new original Christmas track filled with warmth, charm and the band’s signature uplifting country sound. “The Only Christmas Present” is a celebration of the people and moments that make the season meaningful, wrapped in harmonies and a chorus that invites everyone to sing along.

Originally written by lead vocalist Laura while she was still at school, the song was rediscovered years later and brought to the band to reimagine together.

Now fully arranged with Chasing Twisters’ full-band sound, the track blends playful storytelling, heartfelt sentiment and a nostalgic Christmas glow. There’s humour behind the release too, the band spent the summer rehearsing and filming the music video for a winter single. Laura embraces her love of Christmas without hesitation, while Craig openly admits to being “a bit of a Grinch,” and Pat remains firmly opposed to festive jumpers. The contrast captures the band’s dynamic, light hearted, real, and rooted in genuine friendship.
