Just weeks after the release of rowdy drinking song ‘I Need A Drink’, Owen Morton is back giving fans yet another taste of his debut Nashville-recorded country album – this time with the title track.
‘Made For Me, Made For You’ is a song that would not be out of place on a classic George Strait album. It’s a simple love song, told from the account of a man who refuses to move on from an old relationship due to the undying love he still has.
Written by Owen’s current US-based manager Lorri Shankar, Owen fell in love with the demo of this song when he began working with her in mid-2025. So much so, that when he flew over to cut his album in September, they both vehemently agreed he should include it.
“My music is my gift to you. Hence, the reason I chose this song to be the title track of the upcoming album. It was made for both me as a deep lover of real country music, and for you – the audience, the people who really resonate with the stories it tells, who feel each song vicariously as if they’re living it themselves, and of course for those who just love the sound!” – Owen
The full album is scheduled for release on April 10th 2026, just a couple of weeks before Owen jets off yet again to tour the USA with Lorri and the band, this time playing several shows across New England.
